New MS Office to .MD converter
MarkItDown from Microsoft converts .docx, .xlsx, .pptx and PDFs into Markdown.
Useful for two things: getting documents out of Office and into a repo or a notes vault, and feeding documents to an LLM, which handles Markdown far better than a binary blob.
Google Docs can also export Markdown directly now, if that’s where your documents live.
